Notice the odd numbered ones are better?Ģ is the best of the series, it takes itself serious and was the one which brought outposts clearing, it is much more immersive than any other part.ģ is loveable by most for plot and smooth gameplay, though it was made more casual than 2.īlood dragon is like 4 hours long but it takes a lot from 70-s- 80-s movies cliches, mixes them and just lets you enjoy the result.Ĥ is boring and it's story is dumb, the only way it makes sense is if you take the fast ending route, otherwise, it's absolutely same as 3, they just changed the setting and added climbing rope. 6 is brutal on your system, even my Alienware with a 3080 can't keep solid frame rates unless I turn everything down, and the storyline is just weird and hard to get into. I don't necessarily agree with all of the criticism over New Dawn. I think it's all around the best representation of the series. Storyline, gameplay, the map itself, the NPCs, side games. But I played the rest of them in order and have only finished New Dawn all the way through, haven't tried blood dragon, barely played primal cuz it didn't hold my interest, I am 3/4 of the way through playing 5 for the second time, I think it's probably my favorite overall. I can't say that I remember finishing it or many of the aspects other than being blown away by the graphics (at the time).
